Visiting a new church can be intimidating:

What should I wear? What will happen? Where do my kids go? What is the music like?

These are only a few of the many questions and thoughts people have when visiting a church for the first time. Our desire is that everyone who walks through the doors will feel comfortable and accepted right away. So to help with that, below are some of the things you can expect when you step into Daystar. If you have any additional questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

What’s the service like?

Our services includes a time of music, announcements, offering, and a message.

You can expect a variety of musical styles, each designed specifically to provide an atmosphere of worship to God. The messages are biblical and practical, in order to reveal God’s deep love for you and help you find your potential in Christ.

What Should I Wear?

The most important thing is for you to feel comfortable. After all, we are delighted that you’re joining us and want you to enjoy the service and not be concerned with what you’re wearing. Generally, most people wear jeans and a shirt. Others prefer to put on their “Sunday best,” and that’s fine too! We think you’ll fit in no matter how you dress.

Where do my kids go?

Ages 6mo – 2 yrs: Nursery

A staffed nursery is available during the sermon for the care of your children ages 6 months – 2 years. A room for sleeping infants, as well as a nursing mothers room with an audio feed of the service is available.

Ages 3 – Grade 6

After the music portion of the service, your children ages 3 to grade 6 are invited to join our Kidz Church Sunday school programs. When you arrive, you can sign in your children into our secure electronic check-in system, just inside the front doors of the church. There are always friendly volunteers available to help you and your kids find your way around!

Who can I talk to?

If you would like to talk with someone about a spiritual question, a life struggle you are dealing with, or for more information about our church and what we offer, please feel free to speak with any of our pastors this Sunday. If you need to talk to someone during the week please contact the church office.
