  • Wash your hands with soap for at least 20 seconds after touching communal surfaces such as handrails and handles.
  • Avoid touching your face.

Merge & the Mask Bylaw

The City of Leduc is now requiring face masks in all public spaces. (See the bylaw here.) As a result, we will be asking for all attendees to wear masks when attending Merge and when traveling on the Merge bus. We understand that some people may not be able to wear masks for a variety of reasons (e.g. asthma) and as such, are exempt from this bylaw. Others may choose to temporarily remove their masks (as per provisions in the bylaw) during: snack, and athletic games. We are choosing not to be heavy-handed in our approach but will remind youth to wear a mask, where possible. We will continue to encourage regular hand sanitizing of all attendees and continue to sanitize all heavy traffic areas three times a night.
Please help us continue to make Merge the exciting place it has always been, while still being respectful of this bylaw.

Merge & the Gathering Bylaw

Alberta has set a regulation which limits the number of people present in a single space during an indoor social gathering. Currently, the maximum is 15. To comply with this, Merge will be splitting up into MOBs (small groups) during the social time. Each MOB will be directed to different areas/rooms of the building. The groups will be allowed to come together during the service as the regulation also states a 100 person limit on indoor seated events. We will be designating different areas in the auditorium for each MOB to be seated while maintaining physical distancing from other MOBs.
